The Segway Human Transporter is a 2-wheeled, self-balancing, electric-powered personal transportation device designed to be used on sidewalks and in other pedestrian environments. It is also an environmentally friendly alternative to gas-guzzling cars, intuitive & easy to use.

The Convergence Education Foundation has purchased a Segway for use as a tool to exemplify what engineering technology looks and feels like in today's world.  We are making it available to learning organizations and companies through programs designed to experience new learning and thinking.  Via this website, we offer ways for learners to prepare for these presentations by doing some research on the Segway.    Segway Request Guide
